Mad Money Machine

Anyone having trouble listening to show 26?

Wyoming Trucker says the direct file download link for show 26 downloads the file, but it stops playing after about a minute and a half.

Anyone else having trouble listening to the file? Yes or no? Deal or No Deal?

I listened in its entirety & enjoyed, but also did not win a book.

    The thing is obviously defective!

    Congratulations scottaplus!

I’ll send you an email asking for your mailing address.

I hope you enjoy the book and use it to good financial health!

Grrrr. I have downloaded MMM26 three times now off the web link, and it has always failed just when you are speculating whether you can stick with the Podcast for a full year (Just after you announce your sponsor. What’s up with that? Are you about to appeal for more money from them?)
I guess I’ll just have to get it from Itunes. Sigh.

BIZ: does it fail when playing inside your browser too?

Does your flash drive have enough space left on it?

Did you get the other podcast to play properly?

I think the file is a standard mp3 format: 128bps and sample rate of 44 KHz

It is a little bigger file than usual and a little longer than usual.

There is enough room on the flash drive. I think there is a glitch in the file downloaded from the website (rather than Itunes) and the MP3 player thinks it came to the end or the file. I have deleted it off of my flash drive and loaded a fresh download three times, and it failed at precisely the same place in the “broadcast”.
Meanwhile, the twenty or so other audio files of Rush Limbaugh, Hugh Hewitt, Apologetics.com and Stand to Reason have all performed without a hitch. Mind you, all of these are also deleted off as they are listened to as well.

when you say “rather than iTunes” do you mean that the show worked properly when downloaded from iTunes? I would not think it would make any difference since it is the same file.

I looked back and show 25 was also 128kbps, so I guess if that played OK for you then that is not it.

I’m going to put out another show tonight. Let’s see if the new one works for you and just call this one a random glitch. If it is a random glitch, then I guess listening thru the web player is the only way to get this one file.

If show 27 no workie for you, then yes I’ve got a problem.
